2015 has been incredibly busy. I literally can't manage my time from my main job as a game designer (and a gamer hahaha). It didn't stop me from hunting some makeup too. Last month my mom came to visit me for 5 weeks and during that time, I managed to ask her to buy some makeup for me. (♡´à±ª`♡)

One of them is Banila Co. Prime Primer Purity.

Face Primer | Type: Purity | 24000 KRW | Korean Website

I know that Banila's prime primer classic and matte are the bomb, however I was really intrigued with this one because it's for sensitive skin—well, that's for me.

Ah, face primer~ I did have one once from Missha (like 4 years ago?). It was kinda horrible because I didn't feel any difference, and it felt a little bit itchy on my skin. I have been aiming Banila face primer for a while and my mom bought it for me, yay~

Okay, the box is in Korean but they stated that this product is free from: paraben, artificial dye, artificial fragrance, mineral oil, benzophenone, artificial antioxidant, and it's vegan.

Love the bottle. Simple, classic, and it looks elegant. The only downside to this product is: it doesn't have any cap. It's just bare, you can just pump it and leave it on your desk, but it's kinda unhygienic considering how I like to throw my makeup in a pouch with my other pigmented makeup.

Every word that's written on this product is mostly Korean. I can't find an English version even on their English website. But anyway, you got the point: it's a face primer, it's used after you use all of your skin care, right before you put on any makeup.

The shocking thing about this product than Banila's other prime primer is: it has a slightly green color. I can't capture it in the photo, but it's not exactly white. It has a little bit of mint green tint there. Unlike the other Banila primer that I tried in the store, this one leaves my skin slightly brighter and whiter because of the cream color (but in real life it doesn't look really different to be honest). It also reduce a little bit of my red spot (not how a green foundation works, it doesn't have that much coverage). This primer texture is a bit powdery too. It feels really different than Banilla's other face primer which feels more like a skin lotion.

In these photos, I used Banila Co. Prime Primer Purity and Laneige BB Cushion.

Eeeurrghh... I hate how my face looked really dry because of the weather in this photo.

This face primer helps to set my makeup longer than usual. I use Laneige BB cushion which works great but the texture is kinda slippery and sometimes if I touched my face it would gone. This primer here, help the BB cream to stick and prevent it from melting. I don't have any breakout either which is great! A lot of makeup that I tried in the past, cause me breakouts, and that's totally annoying because I have to stop wearing makeup for a week after that.

The moisturizing effect is not too extreme but it doesn't lack of it too. It just okay. It's entirely designed only for sensitive skin that's not too oily and not too dry. I love this primer. Although in winter, this primer cannot support to moisturize my skin like it did during autumn. But it's kinda okay. I have a whole other skin care routine before the primer.

In conclusion (4/5):
+ Make my makeup more longlasting
+ No breakouts!
+ No weird smell
+ Quite moisturizing enough
- The powdery texture is kinda weird, not really affecting the performance though

Next time, I'll probably just try the classic one. Not that this one isn't good, but the powdery texture... feels odd for me.

Stay positive, be creative. See you next time~
