And I feel thankful to live in Busan. This summer doesn't seem to be that hot. Usually it's only 24 celcius. There are a lot of rain this summer. I don't mind. But when it's rainy I feel sad because I can't bike to work (yes, I bike to work, it's only like... 15 minutes to the office).
Anyway, today I am going to review my very first lip scrub in my life. It's The Saem Honey Sugar Scrub.
Lip Scrub | 6000 KRW | Korean Website
Another honey product! Yay!
The first time I felt interested in a lip scrub product was when I found out a lip scrub product in Indonesia that looked like sugar. The scrub was really big like a real sugar. However, it would take a lot of effort to buy it and ask someone to bring it to Korea. In the end, I decided to find a Korean product.
I don't know why but I feel really excited with this product. Is it because it's my first lip scrub ever? Will it totally moisturize and soften my lips? if you are new in my blog, I struggle with chapped and dry lips fyi.
The box is really cute. To be honest it screams honey all over it. They also wrote that they used organic sugar. Errr... if it really contains sugar, won't ants come to it?
I like that it's packed in tube. Pot packaging is cuter (I don't mind that I have to dip my finger into it, I don't find it particularly dirty or something) but tube packaging is more efficient!
It's totally colorless. I can hardly see the scrub because they're so small and soft. It's feels stickier than vaseline petroleum jelly but similar to lip gloss texture. It smells like a super sweet nectar and it tastes like a super sweet honey. If you don't like honey and sweet things, this product is not for you. I feel afraid that ants will come and eat this product if I don't put the cap properly ((゚□゚;)).
I tried to follow the instructions. I put the lip scrub on my lips. The amount is up to you but I like using it until I can feel my lips drenched in honey dew like feeling. I rubbed it until I almost can't feel the scrub anymore and then wash it off with water.
The result? Well~~~ I can't really hope that it can clear my chapped lips in one take, rite? But it gave me a moisturized lips for sure. I still have to put lip balm on my lips for precaution. Probably it's because it's summer that my lips is looking great and it doesn't dried up like it usually did.
Overall? I love it! I tried to hold my self back from licking it every time I put it on my lips.
In Conclusion (score: 4/5):
+ Honey!
+ Sweet smell, sweet taste
+ Moisturizing
+ The scrub is small and soft so it does not hurt
+ Not expensive
Anyway, if I can't find a good lip scrub product with cheap price when I already used it all, I might buy it again.
To end this review post, I want to share my current obsession! Seo In Guk-ssi! ♥ ⃛ヾ(๑❛ ▿ ◠๑ )
For the love of everything, I have seen him since K.will's Please Don't MV but then I forgot about him and suddenly last week I felt curious about what was he doing. Then I found out about his new drama with Jang Na Ra (I Remember You/너를 기억해). Then I ended up finishing King of Highschool drama. And now I am watching Master's Sun (and I can only watch it when my friend is at home because I can't stand scary things).
Seo In Guk-ssi! Where were you in my life? (灬ºωº灬)♡
Hahaha. Anyway if you want to talk about Seo In Guk, please do it in the comment section. Although I am not a very diligent fans that I stalk about his news or what. I love dramas, but I don't watch variety show. I can probably only talk about something in the drama.
Stay positive, be creative. See you next time~
Gabriela Tio.
