[REVIEW] Too Cool For School Smoky Nudy Lip Color + Jolly Jelly Lip Gloss

I'm writing this in the middle of finishing up my final project (or what you called thesis usually, just not to confuse anyone with any other simple assignment). Actually I got these products long ago, a few months probably, but I kept forgetting to give a review about it. It's not all about writing a review, actually, because I want to make my own track record of what I've bought and everything.

The first product is Too Cool For School's Glam Rock Smoky Nudy Lip Color!

I really love nude lipstick more than bright colored lipstick. It can enhance my eye makeup look, especially because I really like to make thick eyeliner which looked better with this kind of lipstick.

Basically, Too Cool For School has 4 shades for this products. The English site only provides 2 shades though, I don't know why.

I love them all! I wish I could have all of them!! <3

The box was all written in Korean. This product description is: A lip color to create a charming classic look with a chic, sophisticated, and fancy mood in your smoky line. The box design is simple and elegant but maintains it's adorable look with cute owl (or it isn't owl?) eye on it.

Seriously, I really like this packaging. It's smooth and matte, all black, with gold-but-not-gold font.

I naturally have a slightly reddish lips. This lipstick covers it all perfectly. The texture is creamy and quite soft. It doesn't make a matte finish, but instead it looks pretty natural because it's not too glossy. I really like the result because it make me look totally pale, but if I use it wrongly, I will look like a sick person.

It's not exactly moisturizing but it can stay on my lips for an hour or so without chapping my lips. If I use lip balm before I apply this product, the color will look like it's poorly pigmented (which actually not). Basically my lips can handle this lipstick very well if I keep retouching it with lip balm, lipstick, and lip gloss.


The second product is Too Cool For School Jolly Jelly Lip Gloss.

Lip gloss | Color no. 8 Fanta Orange | 10.000 KRW

I don't think this product is still produced anymore because I can't find it in the website. I am gonna review this, though. Because I guess they are worth to be reviewed.

Like before, the box is all written in Korean. It said: "To express moisturized and volumized glass watery like lips." It contains honey and papaya extract. Honey extract is for moisturizing effect and caring your lips. Papaya extract is for the vitamins. It also said that this product was not sticky.

I really like this packaging too! ^^ I have had a lot of Korean lip gloss product, from Etude to Missha and by far, this is my most favorite Korean lip gloss packaging. The spatula it self make this lip gloss really easy to use. However if I want to blend the color, this spatula is hopeless and I always have to blend everything with my finger.

The color it self is not very pigmented, sadly that's the only disadvantage, especially when it touched my reddish lips. The orange color looked as if it was already gone and left just a glossy feeling. As the box said, it wasn't sticky at all and created a healthy watery kind of look. It also moisturizes my lips. I hardly feel chapped if I use the lipstick with this lip gloss. It has sweet fragrance and a little bit sweet taste which I don't mind at all. I like to wear both of them together with Jolly Jelly lip gloss as a  lip tint, so it can moisturize my lips.

It looked really pigmented on my hand but the lip gloss didn't do the same on my lips.

They were my first Too Cool For School products that I had and I love them so much! It's not really moisturizing but they didn't make my lips looked chapped after 2 hours. If I use lip gloss, I won't get chapped lips too. I feel satisfied buying these and would totally buy them again.

I've said this before but I really love nude lipstick! Nothing can go wrong with nude color. I can look like a fierce woman or an innocent girl with nude lipstick. I'm gonna do the fierce look another day though ^^
